CIPROMS has entered over $1.5 million in charges for October dates of service and almost everything has been accepted. The handful of denials and rejections we have received have been due to subscriber eligibility and other non-ICD-10 related issues.
Payments have been issued or claims are set to pay from most major payers, including Medicare, Medicaid, Anthem, Humana Medicare, Cigna, Aetna, SIHO, Tricare, UHC, Sagamore, and IU Encore, as well as several smaller payers. Among remit files issued for October dates of service, we’ve found no ICD-10 denials.
We will continue to keep you up to date on our experiences during the ICD-10 implementation. If you are a CIPROMS client who has questions about ICD-10, contact your assigned account executive according to normal protocol. If we uncover any ICD-10 issues related to your account, someone will contact you directly.
General questions about ICD-10 or other CIPROMS services can be sent to cipromsmarketing@ciproms.com.
