Final details of the MACRA Quality Payment Program for the 2017 reporting year were released late last week by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. While much of the proposed rule was included in the final draft, CMS made a few provisions especially for small practices and for eligible providers who aren’t quite ready to dive in for 2017.
The Indiana Health Coverage Programs will replace its current Medicaid management information system, IndianaAIM, with the new CoreMMIS beginning December 5, 2016. Along with CoreMMIS, a new provider interface called the Provider Healthcare Portal will replace Web interChange.
EDPMA, in cooperation with ACEP, submitted to CMS a number of comments about the Notice of Benefit and Payment Parameters for 2018, “urging it to require ACA health plans to offer fair coverage including adequate reimbursement for emergency care.”
